Jacob Eisen, Fintech President

Jacob Eisen serves as MVB Bank’s Fintech President, and joined the company in April 2021. Jacob brings more than 18 years of diversified financial technology, payments, banking, and investment banking experience to Team MVB. He also serves as a board member of County Bancorp (Nasdaq: ICBK), the parent company of a niche $1.5 billion asset size agriculture focused community bank based in Wisconsin. Most recently, Jacob co-founded ConnexPay and served as its founding chief operating officer. ConnexPay is a successful venture capital-backed payments company, and Jacob remains on its board of directors. The company is backed by leading venture capital investors, including F-Prime and BIP Capital, and is processing billions in annualized payment volume.


Earlier in his career, Jacob served as managing director and head of the Community Bank Group for a FINRA-licensed investment bank, and as managing director and head of capital markets for another FINRA-licensed investment bank, which was ultimately acquired by PNC. Much of Jacob’s investment banking experience focused around advising publicly traded banks, and he is passionate about facilitating partnership opportunities between financial technology innovators and FDIC-insured financial institutions.
