Jacob Eisen joined MVB in April 2021 and brought more than 18 years of diversified financial technology,
payments, banking and investment banking experience to the company. He served as a board member
of County Bancorp, formerly a Nasdaq-listed bank holding company, until its sale in late 2021. In 2018,
Eisen co-founded ConnexPay and served as its founding Chief Operating Officer. The company is

Marqeta, and is processing billions in annualized payment volume.

Early in his career, Eisen was the number two executive of an ATM manufacturing and processing company. He also served as managing director and head of the Community Bank Group for a FINRA-licensed investment bank and as managing director and head of capital markets for another FINRA-licensed investment bank, which was ultimately acquired by PNC. Much of Eisen’s investment banking experience focused around advising publicly traded banks, and he is passionate about facilitating partnership opportunities between financial technology innovators and FDIC-insured financial institutions.
