James R. Nalls joined MVB in 2013 as a Regional President where he spearheaded the company’s entry into the Northern Virginia market. In this role, Jamie established a commercial lending and banking presence that led to the addition of banking centers in Northern Virginia.
Mr. Nalls now serves as the President of CoRe Banking where he now oversees the CoRe Banking Division, which has grown to include Strategic Lending Partnerships, Commercial Lending, Credit, Loan Administration, Banking Centers, Portfolio Management, Specialty and Title Deposits. Mr. Nalls is a member of the Executive Management Team, Management Loan Committee, Special Assets Committee, Project Prioritization Committee, the IT Steering Committee, Risk Oversight Committee and ALCO.
He earned a Bachelor’s in Finance and Financial Management Services from Old Dominion University and has been a career banker in the northern Virginia area. Prior to joining MVB, he was an Executive Officer at Virginia Commerce bank for 17 years until its acquisition in 2013.
